A fun and light rod for anything and everything inshore! You can throw light topwater plugs, light jigs, soft plastics, and hard body baits. Don't be afraid to tackle some larger species as well with these rods, as they pack an incredible punch! In comparison to the inshore 2, it is going to be a touch heavier, while remaining lighter than that inshore 4. This rod is a fan favorite for commercial bass fisherman, all the way to the offshore captain looking to pot hop for mahi-mahi. The ideal reel size to pair with this rod ranges from a 4500-5500 sized reel.
