The size and profile is a close match to an american eel, which we all know is one of the best baits to use for striped bass. The beauty of this bait over an eel though is the ability to add you own action. Designed to be cast and jigged, these baits fish the best on a slow crank with a twitch incorporated every so often. The swimming action of this bait is similar to that of an Original Softbait, but the added length makes for a little extra undulation.
