This plug was designed out of necessity. Darters are known to catch well under the right conditions, provided you have one that works. Many anglers feel that a wide zig-zag motion is the mark of a well-made darter; I disagree. I wanted to design a darter that could be effective in many situations. My darters have an erratic action, featuring a wiggle that veers left and right by a foot or more. In current they will hold and without rolling out and they produce best with a low rod angle. I like to let the plug work in place if there is strong current or large waves, working the plug in a stop-and-go rhythm. These darters are becoming well known as plugs that put fish on the beach.
